IRI Achievement Award

The IRI Achievement Award, established in 1973, is given to honor outstanding accomplishment in individual creativity and innovation that contribute broadly to the development of industry and to the benefit of society.  This award is presented during IRI's Annual Meeting. Download Nomination Form

The 2008 IRI Achievement Award was presented to Dean L. Kamen, President, DEKA Research and Founder of FIRST. Mr. Kamen is honored for his inspiring creativity at DEKA, focusing on technologies that enhance the quality of life, developing medical devices and other products that expand the frontiers of health care worldwide--allowing these professionals to deliver superior care, enabling people to live better lives, with more mobility and freedom, and less discomfort. Read the press release...
